Enchanted Shores RV Park & Campground (Peotone, IL)
Located 45 miles from downtown Chicago and an easy 30 miles east of our Schererville location, Enchanted Shores RV Park offers plenty of family-friendly activities on its grounds, including a playground, basketball court, volleyball and horseshoes. Kayaking, golfing, fishing and fun city diversions like movies and shopping are all within reach as well.
The campsites provided have pull-through and back-in options for bigger rigs, along with full hook-ups, picnic tables and fire rings. You can choose between daily, weekly or monthly rates, depending on how long you’d like to stay. Make sure to get a parking permit for your travel trailer when you check in at the office.
Cedar Lake Ministries RV Park (Cedar Lake, IN)
35 miles south of downtown Chicago and less than 10 miles south of Camper Liquidators, you’ll find Cedar Lake Ministries RV Park, which is open year-round. Run by a Christian ministry, this park is extremely family-friendly, with no alcohol, drugs or cigarette smoking permitted. Each of the 31 sites has a fire ring and a picnic table as well as full hook-ups.
You’ll find forested trails for hiking along with basketball and tennis courts. Beach access lets you swim, sunbathe and play sand volleyball. There are even complimentary kayak and canoe rentals between Memorial Day and Labor Day if you want to explore the water!
